Ingredients:
1 package of Jovana’s hand-rolled dough sheets (400 g)
125 g melted butter
6 eggs
200 g yogurt
1 tsp baking soda
300 g cheese
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt and baking soda, and let the mixture bubble.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and add the bubbly yogurt mixture.
- Crumble the cheese and add it to the egg mixture, stirring well to combine.
- Take each sheet of dough sheets and brush it lightly with melted butter (about 1-2 tablespoons).
Place 3 tablespoons of the egg mixture on each sheet and roll it up.
- Coil the rolled phyllo dough into a spiral, starting from the center of a baking dish, and continue adding each subsequent roll around the previous one until all the dough is used.
- If there is any leftover egg mixture, spread it on top along with the remaining melted butter.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius (340 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 30-40 minutes. If the top browns too quickly, cover it with aluminum foil.
- Once baked, allow it to cool if desired. You can eat it warm of course.
